Skipping Ropes - UPDATE
A total of 25 Units ordered ropes as part of our recent skipping promotion. All Units will receive
their ropes and resource manual through their District Commissioner. Should you have any questions, please contact Robin Cooper, Active Living Adviser at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (519)257-0836.
If your Unit missed out on the promotion but you would still like to obtain information on how to
integrate skipping into your Unit, the resource manual can be mailed to you (payment for postage will be required).
Trillium in Motion Challenge
A challenge designed for you... Trillium Area Guides and Guiders!
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
The Trillium in Motion (TIM) Challenge was designed to raise awareness in
Trillium Area about the importance of physical activity for all members.
By completing the TIM Challenge, Guides and Guiders alike will learn more
about how to "activate" our Guiding experience.
What does our Unit have to do?
Guides and Guiders will have to complete a set number of activities, including
one mandatory task. The type and number of activities to complete the TIM
Challenge varies according to program; Sparks is different from Guides and
Pathfinders is different from Senior Branches. Many of the activities come
right from the program! There are lots of opportunities for your Unit to
be creative and customize the activities to meet your needs and preferences.
We know you'll have fun.
What will our Unit earn by completing the TIM Challenge?
A special ribbon has been designed for those who complete the TIM Challenge.
The ribbon ($0.40/ribbon) is 2" X 8", notched at both ends and features the
|Adult Members||Navy Blue|
How does our Unit receive our ribbons?
To register your Unit's completion of the TIM Challenge, an "Award and
Evaluation Form" must be submitted to the Trillium Area Office, along with
payment for the TIM Challenge ribbons.
How does our Unit get a copy of the TIM Challenge?
- Download copies of both the TIM Challenge and the "Award and Evaluation Form" from this page right here.
Who do we contact if we have any questions?
Please contact the Area Office in Chatham at 519-352-1110, or
We hope that after completing the TIM Challenge, you will continue to look for ways to "activate" your Unit at meetings, camps and special outings!
